OUR CAMPAIGN

On September 27, 1924, the Brothers of Ohio Epsilon moved in to the James Gamble Nippert Memorial Lodge.  Our Chapter House was a gift from the Nippert family and a tribute to Jimmy. Since 1924, the Lodge has been home to thousands of brothers dwelling in “a pleasant unity.”

Our four-million-dollar expansion, completed in 2010, was funded at 65% by donations from alumni.  The remainder of the cost was financed by two mortgages totaling 2 million dollars.  We are now at one mortgage with 11 years remaining that is being reduced by undergraduate Brother’s rents.  DeVotie has managed the debt judiciously, and the chapter house strives to keep occupancy high.  At our current rate of payment, we will have “five more yards to go” on our mortgage - $500,000.  Our goal now is to retire the debt for the 100th Anniversary of the Lodge.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to perpetuate the gift of brotherhood at Ohio Epsilon as we received it in 1924 - debt free!

This campaign aims to bring in as many new members as possible and celebrate our progress along the way.   If we hit our goal, we will celebrate in style on the weekend of September 27, 2024!   Consider your time at 2707 Clifton, our SAE home, and please pledge TODAY to ensure our future is bright and financially strong!
